Using Arteza markers to color this image up which was stamped out in Memento Rich Cocoa ink, used a wonky stitched circle die to give her a landing area. The donut background paper came from the Summer Floaties paper pad which was cut using a stitched rectangle die which created the perfect size to fit it onto the pink card front. A few finishing touches with Nuvo Aqua shimmer pen with the gold in it and some glossy accent for the shades, lips and icing to make them shiny.

Hello hello!

Kim here a.k.a. @Cardmaking Blonde. I hope today’s post is finding you happy and getting your Summer vibe on! Even if we are revisiting the glory of our front and back yards and what amusement they can hold for us as we try to beat the heat. The cutie on the card above is ready to roll no matter where she goes!

This may just be my favorite image I have colored from SFL’s Summer Floaties stamp set so far! (To be fair I felt that way about the last image as well so there’s that.) In my mind’s eye this little girl is in real life somewhere being as fabulous as I imagine she is and strutting her stuff as she beats the heat of Summer in all her cuteness!

Even with her shades on I swear that little face is saying “I am ready for whatever the Summer has in store. BRING IT!” How does that saying go? “Here’s to STRONG women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today and checking out what SFL has in store for you for this Summer. I hope you find just what you’re looking for.

Just keep creating,

Kim 🙂
